The map below is a nice work-up done from a sketch that I originally did for the "Shadow Divided" trilogy, which is still being written; my friend Rob Chansky turned my pencil scrapings into this lovely bit of art. Thanks tremendously, Rob!
This map shows the two-thousand-miles-wide Inner Ocean that stretches west from Silar to the Dreaming Isles, a massive archipelago larger than Indonesia on Earth. Silbari ships regularly trade or fight with everybody around it, and my main character Kirin finds one of the greatest challenges of his life on a journey to and from the great island of Dalbai at the western end. And that is only part of the story in the tale of "Shadow Divided".
